Miller, Leland J. 85, of Anthem, AZ passed away on May 14, 2012. Born January 28, 1927 in Harlan, Iowa. Moved to Phoenix in 1957 and worked for Courtesy Chevrolet as Bookkeeper & Office Manager until retiring in 1992. Preceded in death by parents Mabel & Nels Miller, sister Elaine Nelson & brother Gene Miller. Leland is survived by Dorothy Miller (wife); Brenda Miller, Kurt (Kim) Miller & Todd (Wendy) Miller (children); Bob (Tina) Peckinpaugh, Bill (Michelle) Peckinpaugh & Tom (Sharon) Peckinpaugh (step-children); 21 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; Glenn Miller (brother); Gladys Miller; Vincent Nelson; & numerous other family & friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 10:00 AM, at Sun Valley Baptist Church, 42302 N. Vision Way, Suite 104, Anthem, AZ. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to Sun Valley Baptist Church or Hospice of the Valley. See you at Heaven’s Gate!

Rita Kronske

Passed away peacefully on May 9th 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, George; her daughter Mary, and son John. Grandchildren Debbie, Skipper, Eric, Joanna, Tyler, and Zachary, and of course Shadow (the dog) who looks for her everywhere.

My Mom’s whole life was devoted to caring for all of the members of her family. My Mom was a spitfire with a heart of gold who would do anything to support and help her family. She loved my Dad with her whole heart and soul. Their’s is a classic Love Story. For me, she was my role model, my confidant, and my best friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

I don’t know what else to say other than my Mom was the best.

James William Scruggs, II passed away to join his creator on May 05, 2012. He is survived by his mother, C F Jackson of Phoenix, AZ, his father James William Scruggs Sr. of Cincinnati, OH. His surrogate father Joe Reis, of Phoenix, AZ and his grandparents, Charles and
Billie Strickland of Pangburn, AR.

He Preceeds 6 siblings, Eric Scruggs of Cincinnati, OH, Stephanie Scruggs of Cincinnati, OH, Alex Scruggs of GA, Nicole Scruggs of GA, Loretta McCombs of Phoenix, AZ and Marvel Ntiamoah of Phoenix, AZ. He left behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, each and every one!

James worked through his illness as an agent /mgr. for Granite, LLC and exclusive Manager for C. F. Jackson and Jackson & Associates in Phoenix, AZ.

Gone but never forgotten! GO WITH GOD!
