We still smile each and every time we remember one special visit with Ben. Henry & Ben were working on their “best golf swing” at the Golf Resort we stayed at in Phoenix, AZ. Mary & Bernadette just sat back enjoying their lunch and shaking their heads !! (Smile)
We love you Ben! You will be truly missed! You already are my man!!!
    Aunt Bernadette & Uncle Henry

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this painful time. There are no words…

  4. Aunt Hank & Wally Loucks says:

I’m so sorry that I never got to meet Ben, but I sure knew and loved Mary Alice and I know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We rest in the joy that we will see Ben one day as we partake of the Supper of the Lamb. What a joyous reunion that will be. The Schauber family will be a huge part of that special celebration and the rest of eternity to get to know the ones we never got to know in this lifetime.
Know you all are loved and lifted in prayer every day.

  5. Aunt Regina and Uncle Frank says:

    Mary
There are no words to express my deepest sympathy.
You and Ben hold a very special place in my heart. It was so apparent to everyone who saw you together even in pictures that you and Ben had a very unique and extremely close bond. I pray that this will bring you peace and memories will bring you joy.
    Love,
    Aunt Regina

  6. Aunt Hank & Wally Loucks says:

    Dearest Mary Alice:
I regret that I never got to meet Ben, but I know for sure that the apple does not fall far from the tree…and I knew you and your parents. Wally and I are praying for your family and I look forward to the day I will meet Ben at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. What a reunion that will be and the Schauber/Latchum branch will be well represented.

We love you and pray for your peace and comfort.

    Love,
    Aunt “Hank”

Our sincerest, heartfelt condolences for the loss of your precious Benjamin. I am so sorry that life has dealt you this terrible blow and want both of you to know that my heart breaks for you as you try to make sense of why this has to be. I have fond memories of Benjamin being a great kid and close to his parents. The picture you sent to us Mary, is handsome and beautiful at the same time. You were really proud of him and had lots of reasons to be. Please know that you are in our prayers as you grieve for the loss of the most important person in the world to you. I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Ben.

    Mary, Michael,
So many family were asking for you at our funeral service for Uncle Gene Callaghan here on the other coast. Ben’s name was mentioned and prayers were offered at the Catholic mass.

Ben is in good hands with Grandma Mary Ann and Uncle Jack. We love you much!

  11. Lauri Callaghan Witte says:

    Mary & Mike
You are experiencing one of life’s greatest tragedies – the loss of a child. There are no words to take this pain away. But be assured that you are in the thoughts and prayers of all of the Schaubers.
I wish there was something I could do; something I could say but I find myself at a loss to express the love and comfort I want to express.
Please reach out if you think of anything we could do – no matter how small. You have an entire family willing to help in any way they can. At the least be assured of our prayers – for you, for Ben, for all the lives that were made better just because he was there. Love, Lauri Callaghan Witte
