David A. Wallace, Sr.

David Allen Wallace Sr. born November 11, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio, left to be with the Lord on December 20, 2013 after battling a short but courageous fight against liver cancer.

On October 1, 1958 David married the love of his life Zetta and together they had seven children; David (Cheryl), Danny, Tammy (Dean), Leroy, Cindy (Dan), Eric and Gary (deceased).  David also leaves behind one sister Sherry (Dennis), 18 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents Edgar & Ruth Wallace and one sister.

David worked for Holsum Bakery in Phoenix, Arizona for 36 years before retiring 10 years ago.  David had a passion for fishing and enjoyed bowling, hunting and trips to Vegas until illness kept him from traveling.

After being diagnosed with liver cancer, David met the challenge head on and began treatment with a positive attitude and determination to beat his latest battle.  David’s strength and courage during this time was an inspiration to his family and friends.  David will be deeply missed by those who love him.

Until we meet again, may you rest…and good night.
