Paul “Beau” Aratico II

araticophoto Paul “Beau” Aratico II, 36, beloved and only son of Patricia Beary, died on December 15, 2013 when his car was broadsided by a semi-truck on Interstate 17 in Phoenix, Arizona. Beau was born in Manhasset, New York on October 1, 1977. In 1982 he moved to Phoenix with his family. Beau attended Paradise Valley Community College where he received certification in computer technology. Beau was employed as a chef for many years and also as a martial arts instructor. Beginning in May 2006 and continuing for six years, Beau served as family caregiver for his uncle Anthony Aratico Jr. Beau was very talented in electronics, electrical systems, computer technology, construction, and automotive mechanics. He was very much at home with nature and the outdoors. His leisure activities included fishing, hiking, gardening and cooking. He enjoyed the companionship of children and animals, especially dogs. Beau was a devoted son who loved his family passionately and unconditionally. Throughout his life, Beau was always very generous, helping family and friends in times of need and never asking for anything in return. Beau was a beautiful person, inside and out. The void his passing has left in the hearts of those who loved him will never be filled. He is survived by his mother Patricia Beary, his father Paul Aratico Sr., his sister Bethany Forbes (Mark), his brothers Giovanni and Roman Aratico, his nephews Mark Anthony and Jared Forbes, his niece Fionna Forbes, and an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Beau was predeceased by his grandparents Marie and Patrick Beary, his grandparents Frances and Anthony Aratico Sr., his uncle Anthony Aratico Jr., and his step mother Valerie Deacon Aratico. To My Beloved Baby Brother Beau:

I love and miss you so much. A part of my heart has died along with you. Time stood still. I am no longer the same person. How can I be with a part of my heart and soul missing. I know you are watching me from heaven and with me always but i still wish I had you in the flesh. I wasnt ready to say goodbye.

    Love you always and forever,
    Your Sister Beth

    Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room

Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
    Somewhere very near
    Just around the corner
    All is well.

(excerpt from a sermon by Henry Scott-Holland)

  7. alexis fernandez says:

I can’t believe it. I am truly sorry this happened. I don’t even know what to say. Paul was an awesome person. Honest, caring, funny, loyal, generous, understanding, I could go on and on. It breaks my heart. It happened on the 15th and I didn’t find out until the 29th. Even though I called and had asked Kira if she had seen Paul and she had told me he was ok……WTF is wrong w/ u?………I will remember him always.
