Tracy Zale World

Tracy Zale World unexpectedly passed away in the early morning of January 02, 2014, at Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale, Arizona. She was 57 years young. She’s survived by her parents Kenneth and Renee Olson, sister Vikki Christensen, sister Sherrie Olson, Brother Kenneth Z Olson (Kip), son in law, Jeff Missig,  aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She’s also survived by her best friend of 41 years, Georgetta Holt (Getta), whom she loved like a Sister.

Tracy also left behind the loves of her life, her three children, Taryn Johnston, Britan Hartt, and Stephanie World, along with six beautiful grandchildren, Gaige Johnston, Journey Johnston, Harmony Hartt, Chase Hartt, Preston Hartt, and the sweet baby, Ledger Green.

Tracy was born in Salt Lake City Utah, where she lived until she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She always missed her Mountains and Utah was always Home to her.

Tracy loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She made sure to tell them all how much she loved them and how special they all were to her every chance she had. She has many, many, friends who loved to be around her, due to her infectious laugh and her crazy sense of humor. She’s best known for making everyone laugh, a witty personality, and her down to earth personality. Family and friends couldn’t wait to be around her, because they knew what a great time it would be.

My beautiful mom,

I will miss our everyday talks, your smile, your laugh, and your smell. Thank you for being my Mom for 37 years. Though you’re not here, you live on through all of your kids and grandkids. We’re all blessed with certain traits of you. When I look at my siblings, my children, nieces and nephews, I will forever see you in them. You always loved our drives from Phoenix to Salt Lake together. You would look out the window at the beautiful scenery while I drove, listening to our favorite music, with anticipation and butterflies, because you were about see your kids. I’m taking you home Mom, our last Hoorah, this time, Stephanie, Gaige, Journey and I will be with you.  I will forever miss you Mom, I love you to the Moon and Stars and back again! Please meet me every night in my dreams.

7 Memories to “Tracy Zale World”

  1. Leanna Stoddard says:

Tracy was a wonderful woman and a loving Mother to her kids. I know her children and grand-children will miss her terribly. Our Love goes out to Stephanie, Taryn and Britan.

  2. Donna Elliott says:

Tracy was one of my best friends my big sis. She was with me for the birth of both my boys and even helped name my youngest. I loved her so much I even got a tattoo on my leg 3 years ago in remembrance of our friendship which she thought was cool. You will forever be missed my friend. Please watch over my little Willow and give my Dad a kiss. I love you to the stars Tracy.

  3. Thomas World says:

First, I would like to say for all that knew and loved her that she did not get what she deserved out of life.
She did have some admiring attributes and during the 17 years I was married to her the most exceptional of which was her dedication to her children and her grandchildren. She was a very loving mother to Taryn, Britan and our daughter Stephanie.
She will always have a special place in my heart not just because I loved her but because she deserved more.

  4. Sherrie Olson says:

Taryn, Britan and Stephany , we are so sorry about your mom. We had a lot of good times together. Love you uncle Kippy n aunt Sherrie

  5. Andrew Garcia says:

Your time with us was AWESOME, but not long enough. We will miss your smiles and laughs.

You will be loved and missed by all of your second family: Getta (Holt), Andrew Garcia, Dan Garcia, Yolanda (Aguilar), George Garcia, and Getta’s kids (Jayson, Destiny, and Ann) and grandkid (Isaiah).

Thanks again for being such a big part of our lives.

We will miss your belly-busting laughs. Our sides would ache from laughing so hard with you.

Thank you for being my friend and my other sister.

So long for now. You will always be in our memories.
    Love you, Andrew.

Please know we are thinking of you and your family. I cant imagine what you are all going through. Your mom was the best!
