Research Recovery Institute (RRI) is a private network donor program that has partnered with Best Funeral Services to provide relief of the financial burden that can accompany a loss.
RRI places its donors with medical professionals who rely on human donors to develop new and effective treatments and therapies. The donors are placed only in educational facilities; as a result, RRI is able to accept many donors who would otherwise be rejected because of underlying medical conditions.
The donor never leaves the care of Best Funeral Services. The complete donation process is done under the supervision of our staff. Best Funeral Services owns and operates our own crematory and under most circumstances, the remains of your loved one are returned within 7 to 10 days.
In most cases, the donation covers a generous portion of the cost of cremation. A traditional cremation service can be arrange before the donation takes place. Additional remembrance choices are available including a memorial service after the donation and cremation are complete.
Some of the medical conditions that disqualify a donor are AIDS, HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
If donation is something that you would like to consider, please communicate your wishes to Best Funeral Services.

Burial benefits available for spouses and dependents buried in a national cemetery include burial with the Veteran, perpetual care, and the spouse or dependents name and date of birth and death will be inscribed on the Veteran’s headstone, at no cost to the family. Eligible spouses and dependents may be buried, even if they predecease the Veteran.
For Burial in a Private Cemetery
Burial benefits available for Veterans buried in a private cemetery include a Government headstone or marker, a burial flag, and a Presidential Memorial Certificate, at no cost to the family. Some Veterans may also be eligible for Burial Allowances. There are not any benefits available to spouses and dependents buried in a private cemetery.
If your loved one is a United States Veteran, a spouse of a veteran or a dependent of a veteran, please communicate this to the Funeral Directors and Staff at Best Funeral Services. Best Funeral Services will help you understand the free burial benefits available.
